Terms & Conditions
Below are the terms & conditions for BossyGirlGuide ('us', 'the designer'') set to protect both you ('the client') and the designer. By purchasing any product or service from BossyGirlGuide you (the client) are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
BossyGirlGuide agrees to produce project materials (the “Work”) at the request of the client for fees agreed upon in advance and delivery of the Work by an agreed-upon deadline, as long as the client provides the designer with all information, items, images, and materials needed to do so within the allotted time frame. BossyGirlGuide agrees that they will be the sole author of the Work.
BossyGirlGuide is not responsible for delays in the client’s schedule that are a result of the client’s planning. If the client requires additional work, or resumed work, to be completed on a rush order that results in the designer making accommodations in their schedule that go beyond typical work hours, then this will be billed at an increased rush rate, and only accepted based on the designer’s availability. BossyGirlGuide is not responsible for errors in designs/prints after they have been approved by the client.
The client hereby allows permission for all design work to be used and shared by BossyGirlGuide for self-promotional purposes. Websites designed by bossygirlguide will have our link in the footer next to the clients copyright.
PAYMENTS + PRICING
The client agrees to pay BossyGirlGuide 100% of the total project cost before any services are provided.
Unless purchasing directly from the site, full payment or deposits must be paid within 24 hours of receipt of invoice or the project is subject to cancellation.
All remaining balances are due before final files are sent over and files are sent to print.
For packages over £1000, a 60% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit must be paid before the project starts and the remaining 40% paid before the final files are sent over. Website design projects require the full payment upfront.
COMMUNICATION + CLIENT RESPONSE TIMES
The client must provide all information and detail needed to begin their project no later than 4 business days after their payment date.
After 4 business days, your project will be terminated, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
The design turnaround time begins after ALL information has been submitted and payment has been made. Files are only sent to print AFTER you have approved the design and all necessary payments have been made.
The client is required to respond with feedback within 4 days of receiving any design work. In the case that we make attempts to contact the client and they are failing to communicate; the project will be automatically terminated and no refunds will be given.
For professional and paper-trail purposes, all communications about ongoing orders are done via email only.
There is a free three (3) minor revision limit unless we state otherwise. After that, all additional revisions will incur a fee per revision. All extra charges will need to be paid before final files are sent over. Revisions cannot be made once designs have been sent to print. Revisions include minor changes such as font, placement, colour etc. Revisions do not include a new design/ concept. New designs and concepts will incur extra charges. Revision time is not included in project turnaround times.
ROUGH DRAFT OWNERSHIP
All design proofs will be provided in digital form and only once the final payment is made will the designer share all full, final files. Should this payment not be received for any reason, all work legally belongs to BossyGirlGuide and the client is not permitted to use the designs for personal or business use. Furthermore, in this event, any individual, including the client or another designer, is not permitted to recreate the ideas or designs that have been created by BossyGirlGuide.
Unused designs created during the process, and which are not included in the final signed off designs, remain in full ownership of the designer to do with as they please. BossyGirlGuide does not give out original design files (PSD & AI) if files are needed a release fee will occur.
The Client will receive the following files depending on their project:
- Png File(s)
- Jpeg File(s)
- PDF & Vector File(s) are available upon request
BossyGirlGuide uses print suppliers which reflect in our prices. Product quality is always checked before dispatch by BossyGirlGuide. Print products may take up to 3 weeks in print production once your design has been approved by you the client. Colouring with printing may differ to that on screen. BossyGirlGuide can not guarantee perfect colouring with prints. BossyGirlGuide can not guarantee for bleeds/edges on designs to be completely central once printed.
The Client must ensure their shipping address is correct when booking. BossyGirlGuide cannot accept liability for our couriers delaying, misplacing, losing or damaging parcels. If you have a problem with a delivery get in touch with the shipping courier directly, all UK parcels are shipped via Ervi (Hermes) and International parcels are shipped via Royal Mail. Tracking numbers can be provided upon request.
DIGITAL DOWNLOADS & COURSES
E-Books, Templates, Courses, Pre made designs and tutorials become available immediately after purchase unless we state otherwise in the description box.
Templates and stock photos are for personal use only and are not to be resold or redistributed under any circumstances. Our stock photos are not to be used in canva templates or templates that will be resold.
REFUNDS + CANCELLATION
If for any reason you want to cancel a service already rendered or paid for, that is your choice. However, due to the work produced or in queue, payments already received by BossyGirlGuide will not be refunded in order to offset the loss of business. If partial work has already been received by the client and they choose to cancel, the partial or full payment that has been paid will not be refunded. Ownership of all artwork, layouts, and development will remain the property of BossyGirlGuide and remaining work will not be sent to the client for their ownership. If the project is in it's final stage, ownership will be transferred to the client after full payment is received.
BossyGirlGuide does not provide refunds for client errors or buyer's remorse.
Breach of the following will result in automatic termination of the project and the client shall not be entitled to a refund of any kind:
A) The client is disrespectful or makes any discriminating or offensive remarks towards the designer
B) In the unlikely case that multiple attempts have been made or offered to develop a design yet the client remains unhappy or is in refusal of additional fees, and a resolution is not deemed possible by the designer.
C) There is a dispute between the designer and the client that is unsolvable.
In the unlikely event that the designer falls ill or is injured and is unable to complete the work for this reason or any
other, including personal, the client is entitled to a partial refund minus any design work that has already been completed.
